ZANKYOU NO TERROR ANIME REVIEW
-SHOTEN YANO
This is my first review so please, bear with it. I just feel the need to start giving reviews on the Anime I've watched to fulfill my desire to express what I feel about the story.
STORY:
When I watch the first episodes of Zankyou No Terror (Terror in Resonance), I get excited. Really really excited. Since it has the same theme of Deathnote. How the protagonist made themselves known by the Police Department and how the clues lead to something interesting. How they left a riddle which can only be solved by someone who can save them in the darkness they've been in. The reason of the protagonist to do such thing makes me click the next episode out of curiosity. I don't find any loophole since all the questions get answered. The decisions of the character are too realistic. The hatred, revenge, love, betrayal, you can imagine it and the anime emphasize it really well. How will you retrieve your existence if you have no power over the world? It is unique, in a way. If you can understand why the protagonist does that kind of thing. I think, you can really enjoy the story.
ART:
The art is good. I think the animation of this series was intentionally made to look like it is captured as slightly dark and old. But that made the portration of the story more great. Though, I'm not really fond on this kind of graphics. There are times that I don't really like how the faces are made because it feels like it's been rushed. But most of them are good. And I really love the face of the protagonist.
SOUND:
The sound is, The song is, It doesn't get interesting to me at all. It is rather sad. The sound on the anime is okay. The voices of the character are compatible in the character at all. I don't have any problem with the sound at all.
CHARACTER:
Every character in this story is alright, I think. The author knows how to make the viewer annoyed and happy on a certain character. This anime really show how a person decides on what to do next on a certain situation. How they think, how they move, I think, they really play their character great at all. How someone changes because of other people. How they love the people who forget about them. How heavy the burden in their heart but they keep moving forward. How they handle betrayal and trust.
ENJOYMENT:
I enjoy it, yeah. There are times, I'd like to fast forward it 'coz I can't take it anymore and I want to finish it already. But I didn't. The first parts are exciting, but in middle, I think it's more of a tragic and serious scenario so I find it hard to enjoy.
OVERALL:
Overall, I love the anime. I love Zankyou No Terror. I love the two protagonists. But also, watching the anime makes me feel so sad that instead of enjoying, I just want to hug them and say, I know you. I know you exist. Something like that. So that's my first review.
