VIOLET EVERGARDEN ANIME REVIEW

VIOLET EVERGARDEN ANIME REVIEW
-KANA AKATSUKI
(JUNE 24 2018)

OVERALL: 9.2

PLOT: 10/10

If you're the type of person who always want to cry, who always want to have that heavy feeling with the story they watch, then this is for you. Though this series focuses on a young girl's development of her feelings, every episode tackles a story which can break your heart. Each episode carry a heartache that the protagonist should mend, along with her own story which truly heartbreaking itself. If this series will summarize as a girl who's searching for the meaning of love, it might look stupid. But it's not only love at all, there's the acceptance, the bitterness, the struggles of character to achieve something they want, the decisions they take for the person they love. This series can strike too deep in your system, you can't watch it all at once it'll became too depressing. I just want him alive, is it too much?

CHARACTERS: 9/10

Violet Evergarden who's an emotionless girl who just ripped off life of others versus the Violet Evergarden who write letters for those people who wanted their feelings to be conveyed. The shift of the main character's development is way too far that it's fascinating. Though I think that the growth of her from writing a letter is incredibly fast, the involvement of other characters made it, yeah, possible. What's really great on this characters is that the massive pain in their heart from the start will successfully healed after they decide not to run away from it.

SOUND AND ANIMATION: 10/10

The animation is awesome! No, it is really fantastic. It is perfect. The emotions the character should've delivered is very well presented.  Apart from the fact that the creation of the animation on this series is great, the roles the characters portrayed, the faces they've made, the tone of their voice, the mixture of these is really something. Maybe its one of the factors that made me cry.

ENJOYMENT: 8/10

It is close to perfect tragic genre anime, no doubt about it. I love this kind of series, yes. But this is too heavy it take me a while to finish it. I enjoyed watching it one at a time. Yes, it really is a great anime but clicking the next episode or taking a break is a decision to make. Since it is more of an episodic one, there's no bearing pausing a little while. It also don't have a trigger in which you will really want, excitedly, to see the next scenario. That will depend on where the story already stepped on.

ENDING: 9/10

I hoped. I wished. I expected. But I failed. You will know once you get there. It's just the selfish me wanting to see what most of the people who watch it also want to see. Until the very last seconds of the last episode, I've waited. But it's nowhere to be found. Though it's a waste, it might be for the best. The ending where violet and the long haired brother got a peaceful closure is the highlight of the story for me. It's like an unspoken rule and they did end it like how it should be.

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI When you thought that the story ends after the Winter Cup Tournament, this movie turns out to be the final phase of the story. Well, basketball does not end in one's country. After winning the game, there is no doubt that another player, much more talented, much more better, will go your way. During the movie, American Basketball Team, famous in the field of Basketball visited Japan. A point where all of the members of the Generations of Miracles, along with Kuroko and Kagami, will have to fight them comes. It is a very interesting and exciting movie since it will be the first time showing how they play as a real team. How they realize that there are players who can match up on their level, who can take them head on, that will trigger them to do more than what they are doing. And to depend on their teammates because basketball is a five player game and not one. Well, Kuroko did made them realize that fact. What I find k...

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI 1. Movie 1 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Kage to Hikari 2. Movie 2 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Namida no Saki e 3. Movie 3 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Tobira no Mukou Movie one, two, and three is a summarize version of Season one, two, and three. Though unlike the Season one series where it tackles first the plays Seirin made in order to participate in the Winter Cup and Season 2 moving on to the tournament itself, the Movies focuses on the Winter Cup alone and show only a bit of introduction from the Season one series. The movies consist of the highlights and the outplays Team Seirin did in order to defeat every team with a Generation of Miracles member. It is a waste not to watch them but I decided not to. Not because it will be a waste of time but I know that watching it will make my memory jumble. Since I've watched each episodes of all three seasons, I already know how the story goes. But apart from that fact, every bit of extras, no...
