The story is a reverse harem anime about a very smart girl who got accepted as a special student in a school for riches. Her school journey starts upon entering the music club room and came to know the Ouran High School Host Club members. Every episode have different settings and comedy in it. The series show more the side of the club members slowly getting attach with each other, and realizing that each of them is important to one another. There be will a hint of love interests, and that is what makes it exciting. 

Characters: 10

The first time I watched it, I really love the character of Kyoya which is the glass guy. I still love his character but what change is that I do want Haruhi for Tamaki now than for Kyouya. The prince like character who have a very painful past. Bisco Hatori successfully make every characters unique as they are, even the Hitachiin Twins. They have different personalities and they change depending on what needs to be, but still everyone of them is themselves. Everyone of them has weakness and distasteful attitude which made them human.

Sound and Animation: 10

Since it is a very old anime, the animation of this series is way more different than the latest ones. But even if it is, how the expressions of the character was created, how they've look when they are happy, in pain or annoyed perfectly fits. Though most of the scenarios displayed are simple and not too detailed, but when it needs to be, it was well done. I also love the songs as it is so catchy and bubbly. Almost ten years has passed and I still can sing that opening song without reading any lyrics. 

Enjoyment: 10

This anime is gold, one of the best. Well, I am a fan of old anime and I do know they are really great anime to begin with. There's no episode that I did not burst into laughter watching this series. It slides on a more comedy genre which can make the viewer happy. It can also make you cry, at the ending episodes, or I am just a cry baby. But yeah, this anime is really great and one of my favorites. 

Ending: 10

Where's the kiss? Where's the confession? Oh, I forgot that they don't do that here. Most of the old romance anime have the continuation in manga. But the twist or the climax at the ending is heartbreaking, in a way, and made their friendship more bonded.  It will make the viewer want for more exciting future that lie ahead for them.
