KUYASHII KEDO KIMI GA SUKI MANGA REVIEW
YOSHINAGA YUU
(AUGUST 27 2018)
OVERALL: 8.6
PLOT: 8
Love is not just being happy with each other. It is also not just seeing the perfection of your loved one and neglecting its imperfection. It is not about giving up when something went wrong just because you've been hurt and can't take anymore. It is also by accepting one another. It is by realizing the characters that you don't have and by the other one completing it for you. It is not through the satisfaction of your standards but by being fulfilled by the lackness you have. It is such a short story but it tackles the important part of a relationship and how two people keep on fighting to make it work.
CHARACTERS: 8
I love how the characters contrast each other. How their attitudes are really opposite and how they turn it into a positive thing to keep their relationship intact. It is also great to see their weakness and bad side as it make it more comfortable to read and feel more realistic. The character also grow and learn to prioritize what's important in his life and the decision he has to make for that special thing.
ART: 9
Can you be real? Can you, please? The portration of the character is really something. The image, the face of the characters are really cool and it will make you feel like you also want that good looking guy beside you. The drawing is simple, there's not much decorations and the background is just blank most of the time. But the creation of the characters are too unbearable.
ENJOYMENT: 8
On the first half of the story, you will think that it is like your typical shoujo story which revolves around jealousy and love. Surprisingly, it also tries to step on the deeper side of love, on the compatibility of one another and the way to deal things when you can't control it. It is a short story but it a good read.
ENDING: 10
I love the guy's explanation in the ending. I love how he view their relationship. I really like his explanation on how opposite they are and how it suits them well. It is something most of the people don't realize and most relationship lack off.
