KUROZUKA ANIME REVIEW

KUROZUKA ANIME REVIEW
-BAKU YUMEMAKURA/TAKASHI NOGUCHI
(JULY 30 2018)

PLOT:

Mind cracking. A twist you will never expect. A story which told how insane human can be. A reason you will find hard to accept but you can understand. This series was fascinating, captivating and very interesting. The common mistake I think the viewers stated on this series is that is being just a waste of time as it is confusing. It was confusing, yes. But that same fact is what makes the series going. It is the questions that will make the viewer excited on each episode, seeking for answers they need to fill the hole of the story. One needs to try understanding what the story wants to portray in order to enjoy watching it.

SPOILERS ALERT: (What I think the explanation of the series)

The series started with two Samurai, Kuro (The Master) and Benkei (His Assistant). With the old era where war is an ongoing situation, enemies are on their tail wanting them dead. Exhausted with the journey and fights, they ask permission to stay a night in the home of Kuromitsu (A Beautiful Lady), not knowing that it will change their life. With their stay, Kuro became attached to her, either having the urge of love or lust. There's only one condition on their stay, it is to stay away from her room. Moving forward, Kuro sneak a peek on that room and found out that Kuromitsu is an immortal one who sips blood to live. Their enemy, mainly targeting Kuromitsu, as they wanted to know the secret of eternal life, raid their home. Adding the traitor Benkei who slit the head of Kuro.

Along the story, it will be a confusion of episodes as memories of Kuro and Kuromitsu just pops out of nowhere, with Kuro having none to remember. That is where the audience will get annoyed.

However, on the last episodes of the series, it will be explained. Given that Lady Kuromitsu is an immortal one, she is meant to live an eternal life alone, lonely and no one beside her. With Kuro entering her life, a reason to live blooms. She now had someone who she can turn to, might it be a lover or a toy. If one will think about how the story go, it was an endless manipulation of Kuromitsu, using each and every character at her own will, using every weakness of human so that they will move as she like so that Kuro will end up searching for her. You can say that the poor Kuro ended up a victim, unable to die even if he wanted to, even if he's tired of living again and again, because that is what Kuromitsu wanted. An ally. A toy for her boredom. Well, maybe living an eternal life and seeing how things go from pure to a wretched make her sanity twisted.

CHARACTER:

The main character of the story which is Kuromitsu is insane. Her way of thinking is unfathomable. She manipulates them all and she is enjoying it. Her role is either the protagonist or the antagonist. She's the main character and no one can take it from her. She portrays a very mysterious woman with a secret everyone wants. The other characters are just her pawns watching them do as she like. Except for her, there is no other characters who will get through your heart as she is. And I think, that is a valid point and that is what's the best for the story.

SOUND AND ANIMATION:

As someone who loves historical anime, the animation of this series won't and never be the case. The animation of this story is dark and creepy. It displays heavy emotions that you can feel while watching it. If some of you already watch Aoi Bungaku, that will be the perfect description. Dark, Heavy, Deep. I might say that a normal happy person won't be able to appreciate it. But how the animation was created perfectly fit how the story goes. It makes the series superb. Adding the opening and ending which I honestly don't know but it kinda looks like a poetic recitation is great.

ENJOYMENT:

This kind of story really thrills me. A suspense of the revelations. Questions hanging and waiting to be answered. It is really exciting. And oh! The actions on this series are really something. The reflexes of the characters and the fights that take place are really great. It is gore, yes, and that adds up to the fuel. I really love it and already add it on my favorites.

ENDING:

It was really an unexpected ending. The reasoning of the characters and the revelations of how the confusion takes place answers it all. The ending is satisfying and even if you will know that the history will only repeat itself, it was worth watching. I'm really amazed at how twisted the mind of this author can be. It is chilling me to my bones.

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI When you thought that the story ends after the Winter Cup Tournament, this movie turns out to be the final phase of the story. Well, basketball does not end in one's country. After winning the game, there is no doubt that another player, much more talented, much more better, will go your way. During the movie, American Basketball Team, famous in the field of Basketball visited Japan. A point where all of the members of the Generations of Miracles, along with Kuroko and Kagami, will have to fight them comes. It is a very interesting and exciting movie since it will be the first time showing how they play as a real team. How they realize that there are players who can match up on their level, who can take them head on, that will trigger them to do more than what they are doing. And to depend on their teammates because basketball is a five player game and not one. Well, Kuroko did made them realize that fact. What I find k...

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI 1. Movie 1 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Kage to Hikari 2. Movie 2 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Namida no Saki e 3. Movie 3 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Tobira no Mukou Movie one, two, and three is a summarize version of Season one, two, and three. Though unlike the Season one series where it tackles first the plays Seirin made in order to participate in the Winter Cup and Season 2 moving on to the tournament itself, the Movies focuses on the Winter Cup alone and show only a bit of introduction from the Season one series. The movies consist of the highlights and the outplays Team Seirin did in order to defeat every team with a Generation of Miracles member. It is a waste not to watch them but I decided not to. Not because it will be a waste of time but I know that watching it will make my memory jumble. Since I've watched each episodes of all three seasons, I already know how the story goes. But apart from that fact, every bit of extras, no...
