GOLDEN BOY ANIME REVIEW

GOLDEN BOY ANIME REVIEW
-TATSUYA EGAWA
(FEBRUARY 26 2019)

Overall: 9.4

Plot: 10/10

This was suggested to me by a friend and said it was his favorite anime in his childhood. Honestly, I find it really uninteresting when I first saw it. It is something you would not expect is worth the time watching. I've tried checking the first episode and was shocked at how I misjudged the series. Each episodes have a story to tell and a lesson to learn. Every episode has an unexpected turn that will really caught you off guard. The saying "Don't judge the book by its cover" is really applicable on this series and the scenario of the story is something some people really wanted to do but is not confident enough to do it.

Characters: 10/10

The protagonists of the story is something you will never imagine he could be. He's carefree, pervert but gentleman, annoying but cute. Someone like him in real life is hard to find. It is not unrealistic. His behavior and actions is humane, though somewhat unbelievable, he expressed what important message he wanted to convey. Though the series consists of only 6 episodes, the development of the characters each episode is clear and neatly shown. His favorite line "So educational" is so optimistic and even if he always looks like an idiot, he's really a gem.

Sound and Animation: 7/10

I really love the voice actor "Doug Smith" of the protagonist. The way he conveys his statement are so funny. Not only him but all of the characters voices fills up the lackness in terms of the animation. Well, there's no excuse to that since this anime was way back 1996? I think, the animation is good even if it's really old. The proportion of the body is cool and how it is different from one another is awesome. Well, it is because most of the series now just looks like the same. The guy, though his looks is not really a main character type, meant nothing when you've come to know him.

Enjoyment: 10/10

I'm really grateful I watched this series at home, where no one is watching and no one can hear my laugh. Every episodes of this series contains comedy you'll never get over with. Just the expression of the guy will make you smile or laugh. The way he do things and the way the other reacts are really something. Glad that I've click the play button and tried checking this anime.

Ending: 10/10

Hope there will be a second season of this series. I want to see more of his clumsiness but smart actions. I want to see more of his comedic acts and unexpected results. Though I want to have more of this anime, the ending is really great. It is amazing how the series ended up by him making use of all the connections on the previous episodes and how every person he encounters with changed the way they view life with a more positive and better aspects.

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI When you thought that the story ends after the Winter Cup Tournament, this movie turns out to be the final phase of the story. Well, basketball does not end in one's country. After winning the game, there is no doubt that another player, much more talented, much more better, will go your way. During the movie, American Basketball Team, famous in the field of Basketball visited Japan. A point where all of the members of the Generations of Miracles, along with Kuroko and Kagami, will have to fight them comes. It is a very interesting and exciting movie since it will be the first time showing how they play as a real team. How they realize that there are players who can match up on their level, who can take them head on, that will trigger them to do more than what they are doing. And to depend on their teammates because basketball is a five player game and not one. Well, Kuroko did made them realize that fact. What I find k...

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI 1. Movie 1 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Kage to Hikari 2. Movie 2 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Namida no Saki e 3. Movie 3 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Tobira no Mukou Movie one, two, and three is a summarize version of Season one, two, and three. Though unlike the Season one series where it tackles first the plays Seirin made in order to participate in the Winter Cup and Season 2 moving on to the tournament itself, the Movies focuses on the Winter Cup alone and show only a bit of introduction from the Season one series. The movies consist of the highlights and the outplays Team Seirin did in order to defeat every team with a Generation of Miracles member. It is a waste not to watch them but I decided not to. Not because it will be a waste of time but I know that watching it will make my memory jumble. Since I've watched each episodes of all three seasons, I already know how the story goes. But apart from that fact, every bit of extras, no...
