GATE - JIEITAI KANO CHI NITE KAKU TATAKAERI SEASON 1 ANIME REVIEW
-SATORU SAO
(MARCH 05 2018)

OVERALL: 9

PLOT: 9/10

What if there is a world other than our world? What if there are living beings we don't know of? What if a portal from another world will pop out of nowhere and an unknown kind which we hardly imagine starts to flash in our eyes? That is what this series show us. It is not your typical protagonist who's been teleported in another world. It is not also something like being stuck in a game where there are no means to escape. Not also the type of protagonist who's born with superior talents or been given a power to outdo the rest. It also tackles the economic decisions a society will make when a new people adds up, a new location or continent or a world has been identified. How they start anew. How other country thinks of a way to get the better ones. How the greed of people will possibly destroy a good opportunity of humankind.

CHARACTER: 9/10

The main character of this story is somewhat normal. Normal in a way that he has his hobbies, his love for his priorities. His craving for things he decided is important in his life. He is not the common prince charming like face nor the charismatic one. He is also not the kind of super intelligent, cool kind of guy who dismissed any conversation he don't find useful. He's a kind hearted guy, using his mind to think rationally. He's lazy most of the time, but one of his priority is to help mankind. He has skills that he manage to get through hardship. He is humble and humane. In line with the other characters, well yeah, most of the anime now always have a loli character. I guess that is also a norm.

VOICE AND ANIMATION: 9/10

The animation is great and I think that is normal. What I mean normal is the common animation these days. The emotions was well written in the face of the characters, as well as the things around them. The actions taken place is also expressed successfully. And I don't have any comment with the sounds since it is also fine. I'm really thinking about Itami. I know there is another anime character who looks like him. I just can't remember who it is.

ENJOYMENT: 10/10

I enjoyed it, yes. The concept of the series is unique for me. It is literally reverse than other stories. The actions and thinking of the characters are shocking and also comes from a different view. It is fun to watch since the protagonist is an otaku, you can quite relate to the feelings he show along the series.

ENDING: 8/10

The ending is, of course, a cliffhanger. There is a season 2of it which I haven't watch yet. There is more to come and the story is just getting started. The only thing I'm disappointed with or must we say expected is for the protagonist to show his other skills. Something like combat skills. I want him to show off more, to show us another expression of his own, to help us know him more. Well, maybe in the next season. But overall, yeah. This anime is worth watching.

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI When you thought that the story ends after the Winter Cup Tournament, this movie turns out to be the final phase of the story. Well, basketball does not end in one's country. After winning the game, there is no doubt that another player, much more talented, much more better, will go your way. During the movie, American Basketball Team, famous in the field of Basketball visited Japan. A point where all of the members of the Generations of Miracles, along with Kuroko and Kagami, will have to fight them comes. It is a very interesting and exciting movie since it will be the first time showing how they play as a real team. How they realize that there are players who can match up on their level, who can take them head on, that will trigger them to do more than what they are doing. And to depend on their teammates because basketball is a five player game and not one. Well, Kuroko did made them realize that fact. What I find k...

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI 1. Movie 1 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Kage to Hikari 2. Movie 2 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Namida no Saki e 3. Movie 3 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Tobira no Mukou Movie one, two, and three is a summarize version of Season one, two, and three. Though unlike the Season one series where it tackles first the plays Seirin made in order to participate in the Winter Cup and Season 2 moving on to the tournament itself, the Movies focuses on the Winter Cup alone and show only a bit of introduction from the Season one series. The movies consist of the highlights and the outplays Team Seirin did in order to defeat every team with a Generation of Miracles member. It is a waste not to watch them but I decided not to. Not because it will be a waste of time but I know that watching it will make my memory jumble. Since I've watched each episodes of all three seasons, I already know how the story goes. But apart from that fact, every bit of extras, no...
