CHARLOTTE ANIME REVIEW

CHARLOTTE ANIME REVIEW
-JUNE MAEDA

STORY - 9

I got curious on this series, mainly because Yu Otosaka looks like a younger version of Lelouch Vi Britannia. At first, I thought it was a typical action series where they have to protect their allies. They have to fight unknown beings with so much harem and moe moe around. Since the art/graphics of Charlotte looks a lot like a typical harem animes, mostly her younger sister's face. Lolicon. Harem. I really don't like the faces. But when I watched it, I got excited by the twist of the story and how the story turns into something unexpected. I thought it has the same plot of typical action genre anime.

I like how the protagonist ends up having no memories. For me, it is acceptable since he gained too much power, and all power have consequences. After all, even if his memories are gone, he is not alone. There is so many people around who love and cared for him. Maybe, the one thing I just didn't like about the story is how hopeless the protagonist. How scaredy he is. Even if he's strong enough. Or maybe because, I can't help but compare him to Lelouch. But, that's really my point. He's strong enough but he's not using his power enough to protect Kumagami. I really hate that part that kumagami died. But the story is great. I can't find any loophole in it since questions have been answered detailedly. It has clear history of how the powers are given, what happened in the past. So I think, it is worth watching.

ART - 9

The graphics are great.

But like what I said, I really don't like the typical lolicon harem cute girl face. So I deducted 1 points to it. But so far. It's cool. :)

SOUND - 9

The sound is also alright.

There's nothing I can say about the voices since I think, it is really compatible on the expressions of the character and it really gets on what the mood is running on the series.

CHARACTER - 9

The protagonist is quite helpless and that's why I find it slightly irritated. He's strong. He has the strongest ability of them all. And I didn't see him use it efficiently until the last episodes. But it's alright since that makes him human, I guess. For character development, only Yu Otosaka have grown slightly along the series. He became strong enough to protect what he cherishes. But other than that, the characters remain the same. I think, it's acceptable because the flow of the story doesn't required character development, for me. It focuses on Yu Otasaka and that's why Yu is the only person who you can observe, grows in the story. Every character is responsible enough on their role and they act accordingly on what the situation they're in.

ENJOYMENT - 9

I really enjoyed the series. It gets me excited how the story ends. What is the result of the characters decision. And how will they overcome the trouble they're in.  I also like how the comedy part pops out of nowhere. It really shocked me how the story ends up like that but I really loved it.

OVERALL - 9

Overall, I love this anime. I love the twist of it and I love the younger Lelouch. It's worth watching.

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIE 4 LAST GAME SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI When you thought that the story ends after the Winter Cup Tournament, this movie turns out to be the final phase of the story. Well, basketball does not end in one's country. After winning the game, there is no doubt that another player, much more talented, much more better, will go your way. During the movie, American Basketball Team, famous in the field of Basketball visited Japan. A point where all of the members of the Generations of Miracles, along with Kuroko and Kagami, will have to fight them comes. It is a very interesting and exciting movie since it will be the first time showing how they play as a real team. How they realize that there are players who can match up on their level, who can take them head on, that will trigger them to do more than what they are doing. And to depend on their teammates because basketball is a five player game and not one. Well, Kuroko did made them realize that fact. What I find k...

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY

KUROKO NO BASKET MOVIES 1 2 3 SUMMARY -TADATOSHI FUJIMAKI 1. Movie 1 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Kage to Hikari 2. Movie 2 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Namida no Saki e 3. Movie 3 Winter Cup Soushuuhen - Tobira no Mukou Movie one, two, and three is a summarize version of Season one, two, and three. Though unlike the Season one series where it tackles first the plays Seirin made in order to participate in the Winter Cup and Season 2 moving on to the tournament itself, the Movies focuses on the Winter Cup alone and show only a bit of introduction from the Season one series. The movies consist of the highlights and the outplays Team Seirin did in order to defeat every team with a Generation of Miracles member. It is a waste not to watch them but I decided not to. Not because it will be a waste of time but I know that watching it will make my memory jumble. Since I've watched each episodes of all three seasons, I already know how the story goes. But apart from that fact, every bit of extras, no...
