ARIFURETA SHOKUGYOU DE SEKAI SAIKYOU ANIME REVIEW
-HAKUMAI RYOU
Plot:
Being a loser, being bullied, or losing all the time, it will certainly change a person. Being the center of attention, not positively but just a laughingstock will make you see yourself unworthy and useless. We always see this kind of protagonist in a story. We always wanted, expected them to change in way more cooler and powerful than the way they've been before. The one thing I love on this series is the process of changing the MC takes, how his so good nature turns into an aggressive one. But it still balance out as he is not entirely heartless. Along the story, it'll just turn into a harem adding girls with bigger boobs and sexy outfits. Honestly, I just want the first two protagonist on a journey, no add-ons. I think, the very interesting and exciting part of this series is when the MC comes to light. When all eyes are on him, unable to believe how the disaster he experience changed him into something they're seeing now.
Character:
I love the MC of this anime. Cruel but caring, aggressive but intellectual, badass but still kind. His personality differs depending on who he is talking and dealing with. He learns to stand on his own, but he is still open on trusting others. It's contradicting, but perfect. Among all the characters, he's the only one whose character development was focused on, but that's perfectly fine. Most of the characters are just there to give highlights to the main ones.
Sound and Animation:
The anime version is way cooler than the manga. But most people suggested to read than to watch it since there are scenes that are not existing in the anime. But the animation on this story is good, but kinda weird. Most of the actions feels like watching a game instead of an anime. The movements are not that swift and superb in some of the scenes, but I think its fine. Side note, I just really love the voice of the MC when he is on the verge of death.
Enjoyment:
Waiting for a revenge is really exciting and will be satisfying. That's what makes me going. His changes, getting better and better, obtaining more useful items and powers, and then making an audience out of it, is really enjoyable. Though that's not what he really intended to do, his appearance at that certain time is really perfect.
Ending:
I hate the ending, partly. I just really hate weak characters, clinging to the arms of someone who don't even like them, and being a burden. There will be a season 2, that's for sure. And I hope there will be villains with the same level as the MC. Struggles are needed for success, right?
